As part of my final MA project, I created a set of two baby silk scarves. Designed to be worn as little neckerchiefs, and made from a silk satin mix, these scarves were influenced by the characters from my picture book. One is a night sky design, and shows a pattern of comets, moons, stars and other space shrapnel. The other is a recurring design of interlocking raven feathers. I’ve enjoyed experimenting with fabric design, and plan to explore it further in the future.
